Wycombe Wanderers and Oxford college agreed to work together on community dev programs

Surma desk: London, 28 February; The Wycombe Wanderers Foundation and Oxford College of Education convened a meeting on Monday (27 February) to discuss enhancing educational opportunities for local children and supporting community development initiatives.

The meeting was hosted by Andy Homent, Activity Programme Manager/Interim Head of Communications, while Head of Education at Wycombe Wanderers Foundation Kelly Rees and CEO of Oxford College of Education Jashim Uddin and Mubushra Asghar of Oxford College of Education attended the meeting. They agreed on to take joint efforts for educational enrichment and skill development for the community.

Founded in 1887, Wycombe Wanderers Football Club has a rich history of community engagement and service. Both institutions expressed enthusiasm to proceed further aiming to make a positive impact on local children’s education and career development opportunities.

Wycombe Wanderers Foundation and Oxford College of Education are committed to supporting and empowering local communities through educational assistance and career training initiatives.
